The Divine Manifestation of Sri Vaarahi Ammavaru and Kanchikamakshi.
Before the present temple was built, Sri Vaarahi Ammavaru (Mother Goddess Vaarahi) was permanently consecrated by our revered Sri Vidya Purna Deekshitha, Paramanandhanatha, Brahmashri Koride Sudheer Sharma Garu, at his residence in Kanajiguda, Alwal, in the Sri Vaarahi Sannidhi.
For three years, devotees worshipped Sri Vaarahi Ammavaru there with great devotion. Many devotees experienced Her divine grace and believed that their sincere prayers and wishes were fulfilled through Her blessings.
While Sharma garu was making efforts to purchase the present plot of land for a house, he received a divine vision in a dream. In the dream, he saw himself building a temple and consecrating Sri Vaarahi Ammavaru in it. He received this vision as a divine indication and felt that it was the will of the Divine Mother.
During the Bhoomi Puja, the sacred foundation ceremony, a Sahasra Modaka Yagnam was performed. This was a special Ganapati Homa, in which one thousand modakas were offered as sacred oblations.
While the Yagnam was being performed in the Yagnashala, devotees witnessed a profound divine manifestation, devotees experienced the presence of Jaganmatha, the Universal Mother, in a living and divine form and Sri Vaarahi Ammavaru and the Raja Shyamala devi offering paryers to her. Taking this sacred experience as Her divine blessing and guidance, the temple was built and consecrated accordingly.
On the auspicious day of the temple’s consecration, while Sharma ji was having the divine darshan of the beautifully adorned deity, the Divine Mother manifested Herself in the sacred form of Kanchikamakshi.
Here, Sri Kanchikamakshi resides as a gentle and compassionate manifestation of the Divine Mother, blessing all devotees who seek Her grace. Sri Kalabhairava stands as the Kshetrapalaka, the guardian deity of this sacred temple and its spiritual surroundings.
Just as Sri Vaarahi Ammavaru and Rajashyamala grace our temple, Sri Kanchikamakshi, in Her serene and benevolent Saumya form, revealed Herself during the sacred Yagnas.
It is this very Kanchikamakshi, the compassionate manifestation of the Divine Mother, who has graciously manifested Herself here in Telangana, blessing the sacred land and all devotees who come to Her with faith and devotion.
